CPS scare tactics on 'Child Abuse'

Fear Fed by STATE

We are bombarded with statistics lately from well meaning social workers. They assure us that abuse is on the rise. They need more money to win the battle against child abuse. Pick up any major paper and almost daily you read of a latest study or report put out by the"Child Protectors".

They plead for more Federal money, that's tax dollars; in order to better protect the children. How much money will it take to stop the abuse we read so often about?

Take this study,
One in 10 teenagers is subjected to violent sexual acts by someone they know. National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. (NSPCC)

How about this one:
Most children are abused by their peers, people their own age. NSPCC

This study finds that children are the ones who inflict the majority of abuse on children. 3,000 young people were surveyed and they reported that children are 7 times more likely to be beaten by parents than sexually abused by them. Only four out of 1000 cases are by fathers, abuse by brothers or stepbrothers are much more common.

Professionals who work with children account for 3 in 1000 cases, with higher numbers for boyfriends.
Mary Marsh, NSPCC chief executive stated that the stereotypes of abuse myths would now have to change.

A study of almost 3,000 18-24 year olds surveyed by NSPCC show that 1 in 14 have suffered serious physical abuse, with 1 in 100 being sexually assaulted by their parents.

It is stated that the mother carries out 52 % of the attacks, with 45 % by Fathers. According to this study bruising is the most common form of abuse.

Each of these studies does not tell us where these almost 3,000 people interviewed came from. It is also stated that the "semi-skilled or unskilled were 10 times more likely to neglect, abuse than professionals.

What are some of the steps being taken by child protection services to "protect" our children?

Here is one:
Elisa's Law, sec.422 Sub. 5 of the NYS Social Services Law allows that people found NOT INDICATED of child abuse or maltreatment, but who were "investigated" by CPS, remain on the Child Abuse Registry until their youngest child reaches age 28.

Each investigation counts as one count of child abuse, so if CPS comes to one home 6 times, this goes down in their pumped up numbers fed to the Federal Government as 6 children in need of service.
The longer families are kept "in need of service" the more money the states receive from the Federal government.

Due to the new "protection" laws homes are invaded, children strip searched, removed from loving homes and placed with strangers without even the most basic due process given toward the parents who are being accused or the children who are being traumatized.

Child Protection Services regularly place articles in newspapers and online stressing the importance of protecting children. While I agree that no one should ever harm a child, I insist this include the Government Agency sworn to protect them more so than innocent parents.

According to the Governments own statistics, child abuse happens more often while children are in government care than with the families they were kidnapped from.
Out of 100,000 children 59 children were abused physically by parents, with 160 being abused while in state care.
Out of the same number of children 13 were sexually abused with family; 112 while in state care.
241 cases of neglect with parents; 410 cases while in state care.
12 children out of 100,00 for medical neglect at home; 14 with the state.
Fatalities only 1.5 at the hands of family; 6.4 at the hands of strangers the children were placed with by the state for the children's own protection. NCCAN Child Maltreatment 1998

Once Big Brother & Big Sister have your children they push to terminate parental rights to qualify for more Federal Tax Dollars. Each State has an adoption website listing the child's picture, name, problems and many of them even state the their parents rights have not even been terminated yet, but the state is working on it.

How is more of our TaxPayers' money going to protect the children from the very people who remove them from their homes?

Many social workers in my area are in their mid 20's, just out of college. The qualifications to get a job as a social worker requires an easy social work course. The hardest part seems to be swallowing the propaganda that 1 in 3 girls are molested and 1 in 7 boys, before they reach 18. They are told that children don't lie about being abused, unless they deny that their parents have abused them.

They have to believe that people who spank, let their children wear hand-me-downs, don't provide the newest toys, clothes and in-stuff for their children are abusers. Parents who work menial jobs; could this include farmers, bakers, trash collectors, those who work in the food industry? This covers most Americans!

I base this assumption on the results of most surveys done by the state which say that un-skilled or low-skilled parents are more likely to abuse their children than "professionals."

Since when was not being rich child abuse;
Since the federal government began pouring thousands of dollars per year, per child whom is in state care into the Child Protection Services money pot.

Parents who have their children kidnapped by the "Gestapo" often find that they are billed for foster care, medical care and required to pay for many counseling services the CPS demands families to take before deciding to terminate the parental rights. Never mind that these parents were taking care of their children while in their care.. just not up to the standards of a social worker out to save the world's children from POSSIBLE harm.

Now these parents are burdened with the loss of their children and financial ruin. If the parents can not pay the states bill never mind getting your children back, you will probably end up in jail.

The next time I want to make a point I will question only people I know will give me the answers I want. I will make sure they have all experienced situations I need for my survey to prove my point and then I will call that fair.. at least if I work for Uncle Sam, or Aunt Samantha.

With the way "protection" laws are being written to protect children, expect that with these newest studies, families will be outlawed, friends and siblings thought too dangerous for children to be around.
Forget second families, grand parents, aunts, uncles and schoolmates. Our children will not be allowed to go to school, counseling or play sports.
Those who home school will continue to be seen as abusers keeping their children home out of fear of someone finding out about abuse at home.
Each of these situations presents too much potential danger for children.

I advocate family rights; this includes children, parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Until this country actually lives the Constitution of the United States, we might as well not have it.

Until then we can expect the continued invasion of private homes, lack of due process, falsely accused parents and children abused by a system that causes more abuse than existed before it was formed.

When I am asked to believe that saving 1.5 children from death at the hands of parents makes right 6.4 children dying at the hands of strangers caused by the STATE, I am appalled and must relate as they say here in Alabama…

"Hey, I didn't just fall off the back of a turnip truck."

The State's numbers and reasoning do not add up, if you just take the time to really look at the facts.
